Description: Cilantro Essential Oil has a spicy, tart aroma. This plant has been used for many years and no one quite knows the origin of this plant, however it is native to southern Europe and has been spread all over the globe. It is a light green plant with feathery, flat leaves. It is used as a spice in many countries, especially in Latin America. When first brought to Latin America it quickly became a staple for all of their foods because it was so similar to a plant they already had, just a bit more spicy and they absolutely loved it. They even took the leaves, ground them down and used them to treat many different ailments.
